Anna Burr
Founder and owner of Burr Injury Law, Anna Burr is a Colorado native born in Greeley and raised in Loveland. Anna received her bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University and was conferred her Juris Doctorate degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law.
After practicing civil litigation in Chicago, she and her family relocated back home to Denver. Ms. Burr has extensive experience managing, settling, and litigating cases for injured tort victims. Ms. Burr has successfully tried motor vehicle accident and injury cases throughout the Denver and Chicago areas.
Ms. Burr has a reputation for high quality representation, she prides herself on her integrity and straight-forward, practical approach. Ms. Burr’s goal is to aggressively assist those who have been injured or wronged by others. Ms. Burr is a member of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, the Colorado Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, and the Denver Bar Association.
Kaela Carpenter
Kaela Carpenter is the head personal injury attorney at Burr Injury Law. She graduated Cum Laude from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, before spending a year in South Asia dedicating her time to volunteer medical mission work.
Prior to law school, she honed her skills in intricacies of the insurance industry while working as a personal lines insurance agent in Florida. This experience provided her with invaluable insights into how claims are handled, adjusted, and evaluated by insurance companies. Following her impactful experiences abroad and time spent as a personal lines agent, Kaela pursued her legal education at Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
During her time in law school, Kaela demonstrated her commitment to serving those in need by obtaining her third-year trial practice license and working closely with the local prosecutor’s office. Here, she represented individuals who had been injured by others, advocating on their behalf.
Originally from Florida, Kaela relocated to Colorado after law school to kickstart her career as an attorney. Beyond her professional endeavors, she spends her free time outdoors enjoying activities such as skiing and climbing 14ers. Kaela’s dedication to her clients and her community exemplifies her unwavering commitment to making a positive impact through her legal expertise.
Stephanie Coffman
Stephanie Coffman is a Colorado native born in Colorado Springs and raised all around the Denver Metro Area. Stephanie received her associate degree in Paralegal Studies and her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.
Stephanie has extensive experience (20+ years) in the personal injury field, working her way up from a receptionist to a litigation paralegal. She works hard to advocate for her clients and making sure that they are not taken advantage of. Stephanie is a member of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association.
Stephanie prides herself on being a True-Crime aficionado, and when she’s not engrossed in podcasts, documentaries and books, she’s spending time with her husband, son and daughter as well as her 12-year-old rescue pup Mimi.
Anne Marie
Anne Marie serves as the Intake Coordinator at our firm, where she plays an important role in assisting clients through the initial stages of their legal journey. With a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice, Anne Marie holds a passion for helping people. Originally from Florida and having lived in various places, she found her way to Denver in June 2024, where she now calls home.
Her interest in law was sparked by her volunteer work with the Center for the Advancement of Human Rights, where she gained valuable insight into the intersection of legal and human rights issues. Looking ahead, Anne Marie is excited to pursue the path of becoming a paralegal to further her commitment to the legal field.
Outside of work, Anne Marie enjoys taking full advantage of Colorado’s stunning natural beauty. From paddle boarding to skiing, she finds that the state offers the perfect backdrop for her outdoor passion.

As Personal Assistant to Attorney Anna Burr, she helps manage her schedule, communications, and daily workflow, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Her background in management and dedication to learning legal processes allows her to provide efficient and reliable support.
Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and exploring new types of food.
Mimi
Office Dog
Mimi is a 12-year-old rescue pup and was rescued by her human Stephanie from the Denver Dumb Friends League in September 2021. While not much is known of Mimi’s former life, we do know that she is a loyal companion and is Stephanie’s sweet office dog. Mimi has been a fixture at the office since the moment she was adopted. Mimi enjoys greeting all the clients and making sure she gets all the scritches.
